Give each advert one clear job

A vacancy advert should make the role and the next step easy to understand at a glance. Start with a clear job title, use a relevant workplace picture and keep the wording readable from the screen’s usual viewing distance.

Reception, counter and staff-area screens can include job adverts alongside their existing information. Choose the screens and running order that suit the people you want to reach.

Create the job with one picture

Upload the picture to Media first. Open Recruitment, choose Add Job and enter a job title, then select one active image from your library. Location, salary or pay and a description are optional.

Choose Picture left, Picture right or Full image with details overlay. Adjust colours and heading or body fonts, then use the preview to check the advert. Keep descriptions short enough to read comfortably during its display time.

Choose standard and custom job details

Use Add Job Detail to choose a heading. Job Type includes Full-Time, Part-Time, Temporary, Permanent, Contract and other employment options. Work Location offers On-site, Hybrid and Remote.

Add Working Hours, Experience, Qualifications, Benefits, How to Apply or other relevant details. Choose Custom Heading when you need your own label, such as Shift Pattern. Up to sixteen details appear in the order you add them; remove an unwanted detail with its bin icon.

Give applicants a clear instruction under How to Apply, such as the email address to contact or where to find the full vacancy information. Check the spelling and contact details before publishing.

Add recruitment to your screen playlist

Wait for the job’s save confirmation, then open Playlists and choose the running order you want to use. Select the saved job under Recruitment when adding an item, set its display duration and preview the playlist.

Assign the playlist directly to a screen, or include it in a schedule with your other content. Changes reach connected players through their normal sync. Check the actual display for readable text, the picture crop and enough time to read the advert.

Keep closed vacancies off screen

Set playlist item expiry when the advert should stop at a particular deadline, or make the job inactive when recruitment closes. Review every playlist using the job if it is reused across several screens.

A Closing Date job detail is displayed text. Set expiry separately when you want playback to stop automatically. Remove a job from its playlists before deleting it.
